Plasma Elite

A non-invasive treatment and perfect solution to treat loose skin around the eye area and hooded eyelids

Plasma Elite

What is it?

The Plasma Elite Plasma Pen is a ground-breaking piece of technology that uses plasma to perform non-surgical skin tightening and rejuvenation treatments. It is used to perform plasma fibroblast treatments that allow us to treat a very specific type of loose, crepey skin, and can be used anywhere on the body. It is a particularly popular treatment for lifting and tightening hooded eyelids. Plasma Elite is a safe and effective alternative to traditional surgical procedures such as facelifts and blepharoplasties. The treatment is minimally invasive, with approximately five days of downtime, and produces natural-looking results.

How Does it Work?

Plasma Elite works by delivering controlled plasma energy to the skin's surface through a small electrical arc. This is then directed onto the skin's surface, creating a controlled micro-injury to the area. This process stimulates the body's natural healing response, which leads to the production of collagen and elastin, resulting in tighter, firmer and more youthful-looking skin.

Before your treatment begins, you will have an in-depth consultation. You will then have an anaesthetic cream applied to the treatment area before the procedure begins. A wireless device creates a chemical reaction that produces an arc of plasma gas. This gas bounces onto the surface of the skin, sublimating and vaporising the skin tissue. This action will create an instant lift to the skin. You will be left with tiny scabs that will clear up within 5–7 days. The skin then kicks into repair mode, creating more collagen and inducing further skin-tightening.

Full results are expected after 12 weeks.

FAQs

Who is it suitable for?

Plasma Elite is suitable for any client concerned with loose skin, especially around the eye area. This treatment can, however, only be carried out on skin types 1–4 of the Fitzpatrick scale.

How many treatments will I need?

This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. One or two treatments are usually recommended for optimum results.

How much downtime is there with the Plasma Elite treatment?

It does vary from person to person, but the expected downtime for this procedure is around 7–10 days, with the first 3–5 days being the worst.

You will experience swelling and small scabs across the area. These will reduce quickly with the correct aftercare.

Is the Plasma Elite treatment painful?

The procedure is uncomfortable but we manage this with a local anaesthetic cream.
